Know definitions from our Prime & Composite Number Song

Remember to use your Divisibility Rules Worksheet to help you factor a number and/or to help you identify if a number is prime, composite, or neither. 

Be sure to know EVEN #'s, ODD #'s, & DIGITAL SUM. (See your Divisibility Rules notes & PRACTICE using it!!  For example, DON'T FORGET to check Digital Sums for Divisibility by 3, 6, and 9.)

Create an ORGANIZED Multiplication Table; Use just the numbers you NEED.

Break numbers apart to perform operations more easily--THEN be sure you remember to combine them again.

Be able to find the Prime Factorization of a given number using Factor Trees. (See p. 32 at the bottom & click on the helpful tool on the site listed below.)
