Congratulations to OurKindergarten Scientists

To the Parents and Caregiver of Pre First Grade,

       This morning weawarded our Science Fair Winners.

                     4thplace Kyle Alexander- the Four Stages of the Butterfly

                     3rd place Arnya Jones- How anEgg will Float

                     2nd place NyKira Wing –Sunlight vs. Light bulb

               1St place MalaikaZumo-An Easy Way To Tell between Starch And Yogurt

Congratulations to all students that entered their projectsand completed all the steps.

The science fair is very big at Saint Bernardine School asit is in the Catholic schools in the state of Maryland. This was apart of the sciencegrade for the third trimester. We prepare for our presentation all year, all ofthe students did a wonderful job. They were able to explain each component oftheir project and answer question given to them by the judges.

We still have few students thathaven’t turned in their Moving On Fee. Please turn it in as soon as possible. Please remember the dress code for that day.   Young ladiesare to wear pastel dresses.   Young menare to wear Church attire- (Easter or Sunday Dress, NO Hair Balls, jeans, sandalsor tennis shoes).  Please let us know howmany guess are coming for your child.  

Next week Kindergarten will behosting Morning Prayer for the last time. It is important that your child is here by 7:45 a.m. so they canparticipate. This is part of their final religion grade.

Bring a lunch or lunch money EACHDAY. Put ALL money in an envelope with your child’s name and what it is for andplace in the folder.

 

ALL HOMEASSIGNMENTS ARE TO BE SIGNED EACH NIGHT.

 

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOURCHILD IS TO COME TO SCHOOL EACH DAY READY FOR CLASS BY HAVING ALL THE SUPPLIESTHEY NEED FOR CLASS.

 

MONDAY:  Students are to make flash cards of this week’s words. Bring flash cardto class. Students are to write the words in a sentence.

 

TUESDAY: Studentsare to cut and paste or draw pictures showing the letter Xx,Yy,Zz. Label thepictures. 

 

WEDNESDAY: Studentsare to write in their best handwriting Good-Bye notes to their friends thatthey made in this years kindergarten class.

 

THURSDAY: Studentswill have dittoes in their folder
