We will have a short Christmas Singing Program on Friday, Dec. 19th at 10:00. The children will be dismissed directly after the program. Please, come to hear us sing!

In math we will continue to do story problems with our manipulatives and work with the numbers 11 to 20.

Show n' Tell: Thursday; Something that begins or ends with /l/.

Advent has begun! We will be talking about waiting for Jesus' birthday. We also will be adding people to our nativity scene daily.

Your child will be bringing home an advent wreath and prayers that may be said at home. You may 'lite' the candle before each dinner meal and say the prayer as a family.  Also, your child will be bringing home a slip each day. If they do the event on the slip, they may place a piece of 'straw' in Jesus' manger.

St. Nicholas Day is Saturday, Dec. 6th.

We will be discussing St. Nicholas this week also. If your family places their shoes out for St. Nicholas to place candy inside...that would be done Friday night. (Someone usually talks about it in class ....just to let you know. It is a German tradition.)

Please, do not send any items that have peanut butter in them. Our room is shared with the religious education children. I do not know if any of the children that will be using our room are allergic. Thank you.
