Make-Up Work Policy
Students will have five days to make-up any work they miss when they have an excused absent. Parents can find a copy of the policy in the handbook students were given at the beginning of the school year.
The make-up policy will be strictly enforced starting with 3rd nine weeks.

Answer focus question 57 and 58. Forces 1: Forced Into Motion. Students will see examples of Newton's 1st Law of Motion. Continue with "How Do You Know It's Moving?". Work on force, speed, and velocity. Homework is listed on Prentice Hall website.

Welcome Parents and Students: Students who did not attend L. J. Alleman last year or who did not receive a letter of invitation to join Jr. Beta and feel there was an error need to bring their final report card from last year to the Jr. Beta meeting to verify that you have a minimum 3.5 GPA which is required for membership. Our club is a very active service club. Members must earn a total of 100 service points to attend State Convention in May. Membership forms and dues were to be turned in to a sponsor no later than the October 4 meeting. Mandatory report card GPA verification each 9 weeks.
HOW TO EARN PTS IN JR. BETA:
DONATIONS: Empty ink cartridges - 3 pts. each
CC's register receipts - .5 pts. each
Community Coffee UPC's - .5 pts. each
Box Tops for Education - .5 pts. each
Cambell Soup Labels and other qualifying
products - .5 pts each
SERVICE HOURS FOR ACTIVITIES: 5 pts. per hour
MEETING ATTENDANCE: 5 pts. per meeting
SNACK DONATIONS FOR MEETINGS: 5 pts. per meeting
