FAREWELL!

The end of the school year has been filled with celebrations involving students, staff, parents and community members.  I especially enjoyed the program put on by the staff and students on the last day of school.  The many, many cards and gifts including the student works, the "Dr. Meuer Honorary Way" street sign plus the overwhelmingly generous gift cards have touched me deeply.

I have enjoyed my sixteen years at Norwood Park for they afforded me the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of staff, students and parents.  I have formed gratifying relationships with many of you and your families.  I have wonderful memories!

A Historical Perspectives assembly has been a long tradition at Norwood Park School   As a gesture of appreciation to the Norwood Park staff and students, I am underwriting the cost of an all-school assembly, "Helen Keller", to be presented on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.  I hope to see many of you there.

Again, thank you for remembering me as I begin a new chapter in my life.  My best to all of you!  Have a wonderful summer!
