Dear Parents,      

• Monday, October 5^th – will be the last make-up picture day.

• Monday, September 28^th – the Light Bulb Sale will begin.

• Tuesday, October 6^th – we will have an APT meeting @ 6:30 p.m.

• October 9^th – will be the last day of the Light Bulb Sale.

• October 15^th – will be Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night 4-8 p.m.

• October 29^th – will be the Fall Festival Day from 5 – 8 p.m.

• Yearbooks will be $30.00 this year.

• Reading - We are reading the story " A Day's Work."  We will have our test on Friday of this week.

• Spelling - we are working on the words for week 8.  Our test will be on Friday.  Please help your child study for this test.   In addition, to help grades even more we are going to have a test on words that your child has previously studied.  This test will be on Thursday and it will count twice, so please make sure that they study!  Words: sister, supper, plants lists, using, getting, clean, agree, teeth, dream, grain, float, proud, hour, & broil.

• English – One of the things we are doing on a   daily basis is Daily Fix It.  Children will correct two items that are wrong in each sentence.     

•  

• Math -  We are working on Chapter 5.  We will have our test on Friday for Chapters 1-4.  In addition, please continue to work with your child on learning their addition and subtraction facts.  We will be taking quizzes on the addition and subtraction facts, so please help them practice and learn their facts.
