Marilyn Sterbick and Barbara Hansen are the counselors at our school.  Patricia Cummings is also here for kids from the Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Program of Jefferson County. 
Marilyn: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday all day; Thursday 10:00-3:00, Friday 7:20-11:30
Barbara: Wednesdays 8:15-2:30
Patricia: Tuesdays 1:10-2:30

We all meet with students in small groups or for individual counseling.  We also consult with parents, school staff, and community agencies.

Here is a list of reasons why students may want to come to us for counseling:

• worries or questions about school learning problems
• worries or questions about bullying at school
• worries or questions about someone's  tobacco, drug or alcohol use
• worries or questions about divorce
• worries or questions about students who hurt themselves or suicide
• worries or questions about being sexually active
• worries or questions about medical problems
• worries or questions about a death or cirises in your life
• service to our school in the form of being a peer counselor
• Girls' groups
• Boys' groups
• ADHD/ADD book group
