Welcome to First Grade

Friday, March 6th is our field trip to JAWC. Please be sure to fill out the permission slip and send in the $6.00 by Thursday.

Thursday, March 12th: Field trip to Children's Museum of Winston-Salem to see "Arthur's World". Cost is $11.00 for students and $7.00 for parents. All parents will need to make arrangements for your transportation. I will need at least 2 parents to act as chaperones to help with a group of children. (Please be sure you have a background check on file in the office.)

Anytime you would like a conference, please feel free to call and schedule one.

I do ask you not call during the school day except during my planning time which is 1:00-1:45 each day. Any other time, I will be hard at work educating the students!

**MATH STARS are looking good. Remember, the purpose of this is to help your child develop better thinking and reasoning skills.
