6/1 Dear Parents and Students, 4th Quarter Project: Part 1 of our 4th quarter project was due on Thursday, May 21 and the grades have been entered for those students that turned it in on time. Students had ample time to complete this portion of the project entirely in class. (if they used their time wisely) Most students opted to retype their notes or write their final draft of their notes at home. (Part of their grade is neatness of text) Remember to make sure you are not copying word for word. (No plagiarism) Part 2 of the project is due tomorrow, June 2nd. For periods 3-6 students must include a topic that they have researched on their own. The topic must have to do with the solar system. They will also be responsible for Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto and other dwarf planets, See Rubric Below! Some important things to remember: Part 1- Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars Part 2- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Dwarf Planets, and Choice topic (periods 3-6 only) Part 1 final draft of notes, illustrations, fun facts, etc. due Thursday, May 21 Part 2 final draft of notes, illustrations, fun facts, etc. due Tuesday, June 2
