Excellent Eight

After a vist to the famous Ron Clark Academy(see website) last year our school adopted a short version of his Essential 55 Rules for successful schhols. Below is our list. Please discusss these with your child frequently.

1. Support one another; always congratulate
your classmates for good work
and good behavior.

2. Show respect to your classmates
and all adults.

3.Shake hands firmly; repeat person's name;
ask questions in conversation.

4. Respond to adults using "Yes m'am",
"No m'am", "Yes sir", "No sir";
say "Please" and "Thank you".

5. Do not show disrespect with
gestures or sounds.

6. Make eye contact with the person who
is speaking and face that person.

7. Accept mistakes and learn from them.

8. Be the best you can be!
