April Update      

Objectives for this month include: Early childhood music and song, upper level timing and counts in regards to music compositions.

This is attained by:

Objective 2: Encouraging the younger children to sing and participate in music with movement and repetition. For the younger students the fewer the words the better the song!

Objective 3: As we walk through the different musical pieces in the upper levels we will be focusing on 3 and 4 count pieces and  comparing & contrasting. We will also work on coming in and ending the music correctly. The art of listening for the down beat will be instumental in the success of this months music selections.

This month is a very abreviated schedule. Pay close attention to newsletters and calendars for all that is occurring in the teacher's classrooms.
