Welcome to Mr. Marty Irwin's Guidance Counseling Website!!!

     This is my second year at Lexington Middle School and I love it!  Prior to moving to Fort Myers in August of 2007, I worked for twenty years in the South Bend, Indiana school system as a School Social Worker and a Guidance Counselor.

     I currently serve as the guidance counselor for students with last names ending in M thru Z. You may hear students refer to me as either Mr. Marty or Mr. Irwin.   I am excited and honored to be working with students at Lexington Middle.  To date, I have enjoyed talking with students through numerous classroom presentations and individual counseling meetings.  Although middle school is often thought of as a difficult time for teens, I have been very impressed by students' overall attitudes and behaviors.  The administration, teachers, and support staff have also been equally wonderful to work with.
