This is the third year I have offered this group to our Middle School Students.  They qualify by having had a diagnosis of ADD or ADHD and also because they want to share their ideas with others and learn more about ADD and ADHD.
The book is fun with lots of information and humor.  The kids are experts in their ADD and ADHD and can hardly wait to help someone who has a question or is not successful in school yet.  It's a support group by nature and last year the kids were sad when it ended.  Last year I had two groups, there were so many students interested.  Each group had 4-5 students in it.

I highly recommend the book for parents to read.  I found it fascinating and thought about my own learning style and needs.  It also made me think about my own son and grandsons. 

Contact me if you are interested in your child participating in our book study.  We will begin in November, 2009 and will meet for 30 minutes a week on a rotating schedule so the students only miss 30 minutes from the same class every 6 weeks.  Teachers support students leaving class to attend groups like this, but keep them back if it's a test day.
