 The MAGIC of Reading March ALL of the Annual Spring Assessment for ELLs (English Language Learners) is complete at Woodlead & Cleveland Elementary Schools. This is the second year for the state mandated ACCESS for ELLs for all LEP (Limited English Proficient) students to show measurable growth in their English language acquisition. The results of the 2010 assessment are expected by the end of the school year. I am at Woodleaf Elementary on Tues., Thurs., & Fri. and at Cleveland Elementary on Mon. & Wed. I welcome the opportunity to conference with you about your child's progress. Please see the information below. I thoroughly enjoy working with your children. I hope I am making a difference in their learning. I am available for conferences with you before school from 7:30-8:00 AM and 2:30-3:15 PM at Woodleaf (704) 278-2203, Ext. 216 and at Cleveland (704) 278-2131, Ext. 206 from 7:15-7:45 AM and 2:15-3:00 PM. I understand that work schedules may conflict with these times. If you need to see me later than the times given, please contact me at one of the numbers above. I usually don't leave school much before 4:00 PM or later. Please let me know, in advance, a time that is convenient for you.
