Welcome Back!!
Mileage Club
During recess students may walk around the perimeter of the parking lot to earn feet tokens. For every 4 miles, students can trade in their mileage cards for a foot token. Five laps around the parking lot is equal to 1 mile. Students can get mileage cards from their homeroom teachers. This is just another opportunity for the students to keep moving at recess. Any one can join the mileage club. If your teachers don't have a mileage card, see me and I can get you started.
The walking club has been getting a workout! So far 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders have been completing cards and earning foot tokens. Way to go!

P.E. - Please remember what days you have P.E. I have had students arrive to P.E. without the proper uniform. Also, student's socks must be above their ankles, just like the regular school uniform. Winter uniforms start Nov. 5. Sweats must be worn throughout the day and can be taken off in gym. Please ensure students wear shorts under their sweat pants. Please send in a note if a student has an injury of some type and is unable to fully participate. I have seen some casts, splints, and other bandages on some students but, neither I nor Mrs. Suarez know the extent of these injuries. Please send in details so we know the student's capabilities.
