Seventh Grade Science and Social Studies

Team 7-1 teachers are still teaching each school day. Please remind your child that there are still days of school remaining and that they need to keep learning!

Social Studies

We are reviewing the social studies objectives for the year focusing on Africa. We will also have a chance to sample some food from different countries and continents. If any of you would like to send in some samples of international food please send in a note with your child.

Life Science

We are reviewing the science objectives for the year. We have studied biomes and the students completed a mini posters to show the kingdoms of living things, the five kinds of vertebrates, and the eight kinds of invertebrates. We will be doing some science activities giving students the opportunity to make predictions and develop ways to test them.
