WELCOME TO THE FIFTH GRADE!

HOME OF THE SHIVE STINGERS!

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

November 10th- 1st report cards

November 11th- Holiday

November 17th- Holiday pictures

November 20th- 3-5 dance (T-shirt/jean day)

November 23rd- King and Queen Bee

November 24th- Early Release Day

November 25th-27th- Thanksgiving Holiday


THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

  • Behavior cards should be checked and signed at the end of every week. The cards should be returned to class on Monday.

  • Remember that students will have spelling homework every week.

  • Student's homework pads should be reviewed for special notes about their assignments or behavior.
  •  Multiplication facts are very important in the fifth grade. Students need to study study study!
  • Please remember to sign Tuesday folders on Tuesday nights!

Please call 704-216-0220 for school closing/delay information or listen to your local news channel .

Code A: 2 hour delay for students

Codes B, C or D: School closed for students

If early dismissal occurs, your child will be sent home by the way indicated on the Early Dismissal Form on file from the beginning of the school year.
