All Language Arts classes are currently working on a grammar unit about subordinate clauses.  We will study adjective clauses, adverb clauses, and noun clauses.  We will then begin the 4 sentence structures--simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex.   Georgia Performance Standard--ELA 8C1

IB students will be responsible for reading AR books 30 minutes per night, 5 nights per week.  They should fill in their log as they read and have parents sign them when the week's reading is completed.
