Dear Titan Team,

The second quarter has been smooth sailing. I encourage you to talk to your child about the things that go on in their school life. Ask them what they are learning about in their classes. They are finished with the "reviewing" stage for this year in math and we have moved on to some new curriculum for them. Asking them about what they are learning is a nice conversation starter but also helps them to reflect on what they have learned.

Just a few quick reminders:

1) Our Sound to Sea field trip is coming soon. The second payment is due 12/22/11.

2) Homework Hotline is 704-279-0790. Our team code is 8001. Mrs. Meekey is our homework hotline coordinator.

3) Parents, please make sure your child has an assigned study time or homework time each day. If they don't have homework, please encourage them to study vocabulary or math facts.
