v     May is national Smiles Month. What makes you smile?

v     You have been given $100 to buy a Mother’s Day gift Write about your trip to locate the perfect present.

v      

v     May is National Moving Month. Pretend you and your family are moving to another state and you can only take your clothes and three other items. What three things will you take and why.

v      

v     May is a time for picnics, barbecues, and cookouts. Describe your idea of the perfect outdoor event. Think about the menu, the guests, and the games you’d play.

v      

v     Rip Van Winkle slept for 20 years before waking up to find his world changed. Imagine you slept through the entire summer and the next school year. Describe your first day back at school after waking up. 

v      

v     Describe the most exciting amusement park ride you have ever experienced.

v      

v     Imagine you will go to another state or country this summer to help others in need. Where would you go? Whom will you help? Explain.

All assignments are one page in length and ink, black or blue.

Due by May 24, 2011
