November 4, 2009 Reading - Read at least 30 minutes every night English - Complete index card spiral Writing - Spelling - Test every Thursday (11/12), 3 times each due every Tuesday (11/10) pg. 71 Math - Problems not completed from previous assignments MATH TEST Monday (11/5/09) Review working with interpreting the remainder, finding patterns in decimal division problems, dividing a decimal by a whole number, determining the greatest fraction by turning them into decimals. Social Studies - The Civil War - See Attachment at the bottom of the page for project information that starts on Monday (11/2), Civil War Test Friday 11/13 Science - None Fall Festival Information - Our class is responsible for bringing items for the Roll Tide basket. Bring items to school as soon as possible. Dollar donations will also be accepted! We are also responsible for bringing in tortilla chips for the Fall Festival Tickets are on sale - 4 for $1.00 starting Nov. 6 Be sure you have the needed materials for class - paper, pencil, red pen,highlighter and AR book. *The math book is now online! Go to eharcourtschool.com and enter your child's user name and password which is located in their binders along with their A.R. user name and password.
