Happy Fall!

Important News From Faith Elementary!

PTA Needs You!

Please consider joining PTA this year duing the upcoming PTA Drive.  We depend on our PTA for many things, including extra funding for things like playground equipment and technology. Our students deserve the best!

Volunteer Program Underway

The volunteer program is underway thanks to the many of you who signed up to help!  Thanks for agreeing to help make our school a more productive learning environment for our students! If you would like to volunteer and haven't yet signed up, please call me at the school for more information! We'd love to have you. Volunteers can really make a big difference in the life of a child!

YEARBOOKS....go on sale September 22nd through Dec. 22nd.  This year we will only be offering the soft covers, but they are much sturdier than before with a special laminate coating. We think you will be pleased, and the cost is still just $16.  The sale will begin at the PTA/Open House on the 22nd, but information will be coming home soon!

BUSES...Thanks again for all of your patience as we got the bus routes settled into a routine schedule. For the most part, they are running efficiently and on a set schedule now. Please remind the students to follow bus rules for their own safety and the safety of others. I'd also like to ask that if you are parking in the back lot in the mornings to walk your child in, that you be VERY careful. We have seven buses pulling in plus the YMCA van. Please be cautious walking in this high traffic area and watch the children.

Picture day...Sept. 20th...SMILE!

This summer I had the great opportunity to represent the school on an educational study tour in Costa Rica. There I was immersed in the culture of Costa Rica and the Spanish language, did community service, and visited the sites. Check out my slide show below to learn about my trip.
