Whew!  Time sure flies when you're having fun AND when you are working hard!!
Students have published their first books for 3rd grade.  Please have them read them to you or let you read them.  They have improved so much since August!!
In math we have almost completed three chapters:  Place Value, Addition and Subtraction.
12 Pwerful Words and UNRAAVEL from Larry Bell are two fabulous new strategies that we are using daily in our classroom.  If you have not already heard about the 12 Powerful Words ask your child to sing, show or tell you about them.
 Report cards will be sent home November 10th.  Time is really flying by this year.
  We have a total of 22 students at this time.  We are all working with "rigor" to grow new dendrites to increase our knowledge in all subject areas!!!!
 Continue to encourage your child to read and write a paragraph or two about what they read.
Our homework is a review of what we are covering in class.
