Welcome to Isenberg Elementary! I hope you find some helpful information on this page.
Mr. Currie and I share responsibilities at Isenberg Elementary. If you have questions about bus routes or other bus related questions, please call me. I also handle questions regarding our Exceptional Children's programs and students' textbooks. Please feel free to contact me any time you have questions or concerns in any of these areas. Parents, please be aware that our students go outside almost every day. Please make sure that your children have a jacket or sweater in case it is chilly. Please remember that students should wear tennis shoes each day and that flip flops are not allowed.
Parents, please be aware that all transportation changes for your children MUST be in WRITING. We cannot accept changes over the telephone. If you need to change the manner in which you want your child to go home, send a written note stating your wishes and signed by you. This policy is for your child's protection.
School Improvement Team meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. The minutes from these meetings are available on our school's website. Feel free to read them any time you are visiting the school or our website. If you have questions, please contact me.
I would like to also encourage you to send in your loose change for the Million Penny Drive at Isenberg. First United Methodist Church is partnering with our school in this effort. The pennies raised will be used to purchase additional technology for the school. The students and staff are enjoying the new Promethian boards that were recently installed. We hope to raise enough money to have them installed in every classroom. I would like to thank everyone who has already made a donation for this worthy cause. Please feel free to contact me at the school any time you have questions or concerns. I welcome any suggestions or comments you have. Nita Jarvis "No one rises to low expectations." - Les Brown
