Mr. Treece's TITLE I HAPPENINGS <<< TITLE I PARENTS! >>> You and your children are invited to join us for our SUMMER READING WORKSHOP, here in the school's library on Thursday, June 4, at 3:00 PM. Students attending can come straight to the library at the end of the day, and you may join us after 2:45 (after the afternoon traffic rush has cleared). At this workshop, you will receive information designed to help you motivate your children to read during the summer months, to prevent that typical "summer slide" in reading skills. We'll have refreshments, and students attending will receive at least one free book (and maybe more). Watch for a more detailed announcement in an upcoming Thursday folder. TITLE I DETAILS FOR 2008-2009 Mr. Curtis Treece, the Title I reading teacher, works with students in grades one through five. Ms. Alicia Beaver, our math tutor, helps students in grades two through five. Both Mr. Treece and Ms. Beaver work part-time at the school. Mr. Treece is here until 12:30 PM each day, and Ms. Beaver is here until 1:00 PM.
