Welcome to Mrs. Freeze's and Mrs. Neal's Please practice Xtramath at home!!! The website is www.xtramath.org and your child's name and password are in the front of their agenda (most students have memorized it!!) and my email is freezeja@rss.k12.nc.us Important Dates May 2nd: Field trip to Dan Nicholas Park May 6th: 4th quarter progress reports May 7th: Mt. Ulla Day at McLaughlin's Farmhouse May 10th: Community Field Trip May 30th: No school--Memorial Day May Birthdays! Devinn Macon 4th quarter homework: Each night your child will have a Book-it book to read. Monday through Thursday they will also have spelling homework with a spelling test on Friday. This quarter spelling homework will be to complete 4 boxes in a row from a tic-tac-toe board! There will also be one math page to complete for extra practice on what we have been working on in class. If you have any questions please let us know! We will also send a fluency passage for your child to practice building reading fluency. They will need to read this passage to an adult 3 times throughout the week and answer the questions under the reading. Our math book is online this year. Students can log in and access their student pages and "play" with the etools. The website is www.pearsonsuccessnet.com Please feel free to let your child use this at home for homework or to explore!
