Kindergarten ! Week of June 7 - 10 Last Week of School !!
Language Arts: Digraphs: ch, sh, th, wh Popcorn words: Review all NO HOMEWORK
Writing: Writer's Workshop NO HOMEWORK Math: Telling Time NO HOMEWORK Social Studies: Summer Special Dates: June 7 - 10 : Book Fair. Buy one book, get one FREE. 7:30 - 3:00 Wednesday, June 9: Field Day Thursday, June 10: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL !!! Awards Assembly: 8:00 - 9:30 (Kindergarten goes first and then we leave. We should be finished by 8:30.) Reminders: - Monday is P.E. day. All students must wear tennis shoes. - Students will bring home library books on Tuesdays. All library books must be returned by Tuesday of the following week in order for your child to receive a new one. - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are homework days. Look for your child's homework folder on those days. Your child will need to have pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue at home in order to complete homework. If at any time you have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can send me a note, call me at school (704-639-3000 ext. 240) or send me an email (lewismh@rss.k12.nc.us). I will get back in touch with you as quickly as possible.
