Welcome to Mrs. Trapp's First Grade Class Helpful Hints: *Please check and sign your child's agenda nightly. *Please help your child complete homework nightly. *Read to your child daily. This can help with recall and retention of information plus it is a wonderful bonding time. 2nd Quarter Homework Monday - Write your spelling words in ABC order. REad for 15 minutes and record it in your reading log. Tuesday - Pick 2 words and write 2 sentences with at least 5 words in each sentence. Read for 15 minutes and record it in your reading log. Wednesday - Complete the math sheet sent home. Read for 15 minutes and record it in your reading log. Thursday - Write words as if they are stairs, adding one letter each time. example b bo boa boat Read for 15 minutes and record it in your reading log.
