School is off to a great start! We are very excited to have

your child in our class. We appreciate you taking the time to 

come to open house. We realize that a great deal of information

was given out. If you have any questions please feel free to call

or send a note. During the next month we will be busy 

reinforcing the rules. We have discussed the golden rule in class.

"Treat others the way you want to be treated". We have also

discussed raising your hand to speak. These 2 things basically 

cover our rules. Please work on these at home. In Math we will

be learning about numbers 0-5, and patterns. In Science we

will be discussing the animal groups. In Writing we will be 

learning to copy simple sentences, and do various drawings.

During phonics/literacy we will be learning the alphabet sounds,

how to write the letters correctly on the lines, and reading

simple words. If you have not paid for your t-shirt and 

field trips, please send the money as soon as you are able.

($3.00 shirt, $5.00 trips). Thank you for a great beginning
