Hello Parents:

Can you beleive we are in the last weeks of school? Please encourage your child to stay focus and continue to work hard for the rest of the school year.

Please have your child to read 20 minutes or more every night. I have begun DRA testing. Have them to read you a book and retell as much of the book as they can.

We will begin a Dinosaur Webquest this week. We began reading a novel called Dinosaurs Before Dark in Literature Circle Groups. Children will be reading a chapter a day in their group. They each have a literature circle job to complete and report back to their group. To be able to complete the dinosaur webquest, each child will have a project to complete. Please be looking for the information to come home either Thursday or Friday. Projects will be due on June 6th. This is a big part of their Reading and Social Studies grade.

If you have any concerns or questions about your child, please feel free to call for a time where we can sit down and have a conference.
