Welcome!  This semester, I am teaching Introduction to Algebra and Advanced Functions and Modeling.


My 1st semester schedule is:

1st) Introduction to Algebra

2nd) Advanced Functions and Modeling

3rd) Planning

4th) Advanced Functions and Modeling


The week of 11/23/09: 

  • Introduction to Algebra

A) Continue with Chapter 6 (Solving and Graphing Linear Inequalities)

B) Homework (Skills Practice p.41 #1-18 all)


  • Advanced Functions and Modeling

A) Start Chapter 13 (Probability)


  • For all classes, students need to have:
A) a 3-ring binder for keeping quizzes and tests
B) a spiral notebook for notes
C) pencils (no ink pens)


All Students may earn extra credit by purchasing AAA batteries for the calculators.

Our textbooks will remain in the classroom but may be checked out at any time.


For all classes, my grading consists of the following:

  • 25% - homework 

  • 25% - quizzes

  • 50% - chapter tests
