Students will work on an in class project about the crisis in Sudan & Rwanda in lieu of a chapter test for this unit. Please note at the bottom that students have one more map test for Africa.

We are currently studying Africa.  We will talk about the culture & history of the different regions & countries of Africa  Students will not need a textbook at home.  Everything they need for home is in their red folder. 
 Students will also be taking map tests throughout the next several weeks.  I have listed the dates of each of the tests below.  Please remind your child that he/she should be studying their map &/or notes about 10-15 mins each evening.  This will prevent them from having to spend hours studying for a test the night before.

9/18 = #1-10
10/5 = #11-20
