Beaver's Writers

Students will work on writing daily in our classroom. We edit for punctuation, spelling, capitalization and grammatical errors. Please encourage your child to write often for extra practice. I can't stress enough how much your encouragement means to them.  Have them write about small moments in their lives.  Have them create booklets and write stories.  Point out how authors write when you share books  with your child.

Ready for Reading

Have quality time to read with your child each night. Make reading a fun time to share with your child. Let your child retell the stories they have read.

Thank you for everything you do at home to reinforce what I am teaching in the classroom. It will make a difference!!!!!!

Please remember to send a snack each day.
