ITEMS NEEDED UPON ENROLLMENT:

ATTENTION 6^TH GRADE STUDENTS 2011-2012

You will be required to receive a booster dose of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine.  Please be prepared to provide proof of immunization   (i.e., Certificate of Immunization) on the day you arrive for school.

ITEMS OF INTEREST:

• Extra-Curricular Activities – Beta Club, Junior Civitan Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Year Book Club, Band, Chorus, Student Government Association, Chess Club, Green Team,  Art Club, Battle of the Books Club and YCI (Youth Commission International).
• 7^th / 8^th Grade Sports – Football, Basketball, Softball, Baseball, Wrestling, Cheerleading, Tennis, Soccer and Track.

Our Guidance Department wants to guide you through this process and answer any questions you may have about our school.

HOMEWORK HOTLINE

CGMS has a "Homework Hotline"notification system to help with home/school communications.  By simply calling from a touch-tone phone, pushing the correct code number, and listening to the recorded message, students and parents can check homework assignments for any teacher.  When students are absent, forget to write assignments, or when parents need to verify homework, the hotline will provide that information.

Our school hours are 8:15 a.m. until 3:20 p.m.

Car riders and walkers should not arrive to school

before 7:45 a.m.
