WELCOME TO COMPUTER SKILLS & APPLICATIONS!
Computer Skills & Applications is composed of instructional modules designed to provide hands-on instruction in basic keyboarding skills, computer concepts and software applications. Students will be exposed to the following topics during 6th, 7th, or 8th Grade:
  • Orientation
  • Word Processing Software
  • Keyboarding
  • Desktop Publishing Software
  • Digital Literacy
  • Presentation Graphics Software
  • Spreadsheet Software

6th Grade will be working on their Keyboarding Unit. They will learn about the touch method, proper posture, and proper work area arrangement.
 
7th Grade will be working on thier Spreadsheet Unit. They will learn about spreadsheet basics, formulas, functions, formatting, operations, charts, and graphs.
 
8th Grade will be working on thier Spreadsheet Unit. They will learn about spreadsheet basics, formulas, functions, formatting, operations, charts, and graphs.
