![]() HANFORD DOLE ELEMENTARY ERWIN MIDDLE SCHOOL Dear parents, It has been my pleasure to work for the Rowan-Salisbury School System for almost 31 years! I will be retiring as of May 31, 2010. It has been fun working with all of your children! Please encourage them to keep READING...that is the key to their success! I am expecting to hear GREAT things of these young people in the future! Your children will always be very special to me and I will miss them all! Thanks for all your support throughout the years! Have a wonderful summer! If you did NOT receive yours, PLEASE contact me and I will send you a copy. If you are interested in attending, please sign the letter and return it to school right away! We will need to know how many will be present so that we can make certain to have enough food and learning materials ready. This is an event that you will not want to miss! We are looking forward to seeing you there at Hanford Dole in the gym in February! :) I am so pleased that we had such great participation on the event listed above!!!! We were so glad to have about 25 parents and students who participated in our Bilingual Book Club Breakfast!!!! Thank you for your support! We talked about the importance of reading, and I have some great news to share with you! We now have about 200 Spanish/English books available for checkout in our Hanford Dole library. There are a few which are only in Spanish. Please take advantage of this wonderful resource, check out these great books, and read to your child or read along with them or let them read to you! -----------------------------------------------------------------.
