Congratulations to Brooke, Alanah, and Shani for making the EBOB Team for our school.

Also, to Neasha for being elected class representative for student council, and to Alanah for being selected as her alternate. The students voted these girls into these roles.

What's Up?

Reading: We continue to study Rocks and Minerals for our IMPACT unit, as we read The Magic School Bus, Rocky Road Trip, and our Science text.

Writing: We are preparing to do our next writing assessment piece. This will also be part of our IMPACT unit, as we write research papers on Rocks and Minerals.

Math: We will be finishing up our unit on fractions and begin our study of lines.

Science: I guess you've figured it out, we are studying Rocks and Minerals. We are  doing experiments as we prepare for the Science Fair.

Hints:
Make sure he/she has a quiet place to study and work on homework.
Set a time for your child to work on homework.
Provide your child with the necessary materials for completing homework.
Read with your child.
