Are you interested in being a leader? Do you hope to be a South Rowan FFA Officer next year? If so, you should attend the NC FFA MEGA Conference on March 20-21, 2010 in Greensboro, NC. During this conference, students will attend workshops where they will learn and develop their leadership abilities. The trip will cost you $100. The permission form and $100 is due by Friday, February 5th.
Do you like playing sports, relaxing and meeting new people? If so, you should attend FFA Recreational Camp on June 14-18, 2010 at White Lake, NC. FFA members from all over NC will compete in athletic (and some non-athletic) events during the week. Events include: basketball, softball, waterball, volleyball, soccer skills, track relays, canoe racing, tug-of-war, talent show, shuffleboard, putt putt, checkers, ping pong. FFA camp costs $200, which includes housing and food for a week. The permission form and a $100 deposit is due by Monday, March 1st.
