Report Cards - Wednesday, November 5 No School - November 4 or 11 News English I is an EOC couse. All students must score a level 3 or 4 on the end-of-course test to receive credit. 9th Grade Supply List Below is a list of supplies that each student in my class must have. If you have any problems, please let or me know. 1. 2-3 inch ringed-binder 2. Highlighters - three different colors 3. One glue stick 4. Black or blue pens -required for turning in finished essays unless essays are typed. 5. Pencils - optional 6. Colored pencils 7. Loose-leaf paper - college ruled preferred 8. One pack of dividers with labels 9. Post-it Notes 10. Two packs of note cards. These items are not shared with the class. They will be used by you. These items are not supplied,and you will need each one of them several times throughout the semester. 10th Grade Supply List 1. Three-ring binder or spiral notebook (This is for notes. Choose the one you like best.) 2. Loose-leaf paper (Assignments must be turned in on loose-leaf paper. No fringes.) 3. Black or blue pens 4. Pencils 5. Highlighters - Different colors 6. Colored pencils 7. One or two folders with pockets to store your writing. 8. For Honors Classes: A copy of The Elements of Style by William Strunk, Jr. and E.B. White, 4th edition. While this is not a requirement, I highly recommend that you have your own copy. It is a valuable reference that will serve you well even through college.
