Here we are with less than 20 days until the end of the calendar year.  It doesn't seem possible!  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.

At the last learning celebration, Miss Ford's second grade class sang and signed a song.  They did a wonderful job learning all the sings - and I was very happy to help teach them.  The next learning celebration is December 23rd, and Mrs. Payette's first grade class will signing a song.  It is so nice to see how excited they are - and what quick learners!

Speech services continue in the classroom.  If you have any questions or concerns about your child's speech of language development, please don't hesitate to talk with me.

Starting in November, I also took on another responsibility here at Captain Isaac Paine, as the (1 day per week) School Social Worker. It is my hope that as the school year goes on we can begin to have dialogue about workshop and training interests of parents. With the economy impacting so many families I am hoping to also be able to provide resources for those who need it.
