WELCOME TO THE DOLPHINS

Science News:

 So far we have had a wonderful start to the year.  Parents, please continue to emphasize organization with your child.  This is a key component to being a successful student. 

FYI: 
1st Qtr:  Layers of the atmosphere followed by Weather. 
2nd Qtr:  Cells and Levels of Organization
followed by Human Body Systems
3rd. Qtr: Genetics 
4th Qtr:  Simple Machines, Motion Basics, and Newton's Laws.

General Information:
  • As the "season of sickness" is upon us, please be reminded of a few basic safety concerns we have: 
  • 1)If your child has a fever, keep them home~ they should not return to school until they have been fever free for at least 24 hours! 
  • 2) If you have been around your child who has been sick, please don't bring it in to us either.  I know that you want their make up work, but we would rather wait until they are feeling their best and work with them to get caught up.  We, as teachers, are fighting this "stuff" too. 
  • 3) Lastly, remind them to wash or sanitize their hands often.  Prevention is the best medicine.
