WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE! *Classroom Expectations & Behavior Plan I have high expectations for ALL my students, inside as well as outside of the classroom. When I assign homework, I expect it to be done that night and turned in on the following day. *At the end of every day, I give your child points in their agenda according to their behavior and work habits that day. Each child starts off with eight points. If they get less than eight, then something went wrong that day and it will be written in the agenda for you to know. If they get more than eight, then your child did something spectacular that stood out and deserved to be complimented. Importance of the AGENDA Your child should write their homework in the agenda every night. We ask that you look at the agenda every night and then sign it. This is a great way of communication from me to you and vise-versa. We also put our weekly spelling list in the agenda. If there is a change in transportation home, you can write it in the agenda and I will see it. Tuesday Folder Every Tuesday, your child will bring home their Tuesday folder. This folder contains: student work, notes or letters from the office, test, homework, etc. We ask that you take this work out of the folder, look over it with your child, sign the designated sheet, and then your child turn it in on Wednesday. *****Remember: *Read nightly and complete your Reading Log!! *Study those spelling words and complete your nightly homework! *Study those Multiplication facts!
