Spelling:  CHOICE!  Your spelling words are found on your agenda page.  You may choose to visit www.wordle.net on your computer and create a piece of art with your spelling words (don’t forget to include your name in there).  You must print your words and turn it in with your homework. OR, you may choose to write each word 5 times each in ABC order.  Study so you will be able to read and write each word for the spelling  test on Friday.

Math:   Complete math pages 75 & 76 about ordering numbers.  Be sure you are practicing your addition and subtraction facts to 20. 

Reading:  Read the story The Surprise Family on pages 78-110 in your reading book. Verbally answer the questions at the end of the story.  This could be one of your nightly readings that you record on your calendar in the agenda on page 107.  Also, complete the Comprehension Check that goes along with the story using pages 227 & 228.

You are expected to read 5 out of 7 nights each week.  Don't forget to write the title of the book on the correct date of the April & May calendar in the agenda.

Word Family:  Study all of the words that belong to the ‘‘_   ” family.  Some examples are:  etc.   You will be asked to write as many as you can on the back of your spelling test on Friday.

Homework goes home on Monday and should be returned on Friday.
