1) TRACE - list in steps (outline)

6) DESCRIBE - tell all about it

7) SUPPORT - back it up

8) EXPLAIN - tell me why

9) SUMMARIZE - give me the short version

10) COMPARE - tells how they are alike

11) CONTRAST - tells how they are different

12) PREDICT - think about the future

14) effect-the end result

15) demonstrate-to show how to do something

16) conclude-to come to a final decision

Let's not forget to replenish school supplies throughout the year!
We need pencils, pencils, and more pencils!!! 
You wouldn't believe the number of students that 
come to class daily without a pencil!
Always ask your child if they need any other 
school supplies at all times.



Here are some things to remember daily and weekly:
Bring these things to class EVERY DAY!
1) Your red notebook, practice workbook, and red folder
2) Pencils, pencils, pencils
3) An open mind, open ears, and open eyes
4) Your BRAIN ~ use it or lose it!
