Welcome to my parents.  Our school year is going well.  It is almost time for Ist Quarter reports cards!  The report card will come home with your child on November 5, remember to sign the cover and return it.   You can always call for a conference at any time - if you wish to discuss your child.  We are planning a special field trip to Old Salem this school year on March 3!!!!!  The  cost of the trip will be approx. $9.00

Reading - Family reunions and predictions

Writing- writing tests Jan. 8 and February 4 (this is a content writing)

English- sentence construction

Spelling - your child has a list of words to study every week, usually 10 words.  See the flashcards

Science - animal mystery box - this is a special project

Social Studies - NC early people and Old Salem

Math - measurement and averages
