My End of the Year Poem

A wonderful school year of 2009 - 2010

Memories for us - Where to begin?

New faces entered our classroom with bright big smiles

We plan to  travel to learn with each other for miles and miles.

Relationships ~ our concept for the entire year.

The Disney Way - BD3  - we held so dear!

We had great plans - we knew what she meant.

Mrs. Raper wanted us all to give one hundred percent!

Seminars, Tuck, King of Shadows, Homer Price

Morning meetings, and Caught ‘Ya - oh so nice!

Book reports took on lives of their own.

Scrapbooks, gift bags, and keynotes - Should we go on?

Projects and Products - fun for us all!

Comic Life, posters, and foldables - We had a ball!

Research and computers were a huge part of our day.

Planet Party concluded our BIG project the 24th of May.

Independent Studies, Recycling bin, a booth at Spring Fling.

And don’t forget performing Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Our last HUGE PROJECT - A Festival for Shakespeare.

We now love his works - we no longer have fear!

We pulled off surprises for Mrs. Raper’s last year.

Two loving tributes for our teacher - Yes, she did shed a tear!

This doesn’t name all the activities we have done.

But, they made our group special - we bonded as ONE!

So, Students, keep working as hard as you can.

You have the potential to be the best in this land!

I’ll keep watching and looking for the greatness you will be. 

Keep climbing --Reach for the Stars -- I’ll be proud to see!!
