Harrison's Heroes
DECEMBER 15-19 , 2008 Merry Christmas
Reading: We will be reading Christmas Around the World. This story cannot be found in our reader. There will be a brief test on Friday on various countries that we have studied.
Each night, students are required to read for 30 min. Please remember to sign the reading journal.
Language: We will continue talking about nouns and verbs. We will also be reviewing writing everyday in journals.
Spelling: Our spelling test will be given on Friday. Spelling words are: Christmas, holiday, winter, light, tree, sparkle, twinkle, star, garland, candle, ornament, carolers, tinsel, candy cane, handmade, tradition, cookie, decorate, favorite, family
Math: We will be learning multiples of 7, 8 and 9. Test on Friday.
Science: We will continue studying Bones.
