I am Mike Scearce. This is my 36th year teaching and my 5th year here at West. I will be working with Ms. Nussman in the 6th grade, Mr. Anderson in the 7th grade, and Mr. Wheeler in the 8th grade.  Please check on those teachers' web pages to check for current assingments and other important information.  I will also have an 8th grade math class.  In addition, I will be the teacher in charge of the 8th grade EC folders. 

In Ms. Nussman's class we are currently working with scientific notation.  Mr. Anderson's class is presently working with box and whiskers plots.  Mr. Wheeler's class is now working on reading and setting up scatterplots.  My class will for the most part follow what Mr. Wheeler is doing as we will often attend class with him.  

All of us here at West look forward to another very productive year. If I can be of any help to you or your child please let me know. If I personally cannot help, I will find someone that can. Let us all work together to make this school year the best ever.
