Your child will be bringing home the reader on Friday...Please read the story with your child. If they can read it to you by themselves...Yeah...

If you need to help them with some of the words...That's OK too! We will be working on the story for the week...with our assessments

on their progress for the week on Fridays. If you want your child to bring the reader home Monday through Thursday for practice at home, just write a note in their assignment notebook and they can pack it up.

We have two volunteers for our Art Program...

Thank You to Amara's Mom and Brianna's Mom who will be working with the first graders on

Art Projects and the Art Fair

HIP HIP Hooray!!!

Anyone who could be a lunchtime volunteer...maybe just one day a week...

Please let me know if you can help us out...Thanks Mrs. Holzer

Your children are to come directly in the building at 7:40. The student patrol are at the doors to let them in and to assist them in getting up to the classroom.

Please continue to send a small snack and or drink every day. I do have a small emergency supply of cereal for a snack if your child forgets and we have a water fountain on our floor...but its nice to take a bit of a break with something from home...Thanks

Please continue with  a homework routine...check the assignment notebooks and sign daily , check the homework folders and Thursday folders,

 and this website...schoolnotes.com

Thank You

Mrs. Holzer

*Review should take place as needed...

*Thursday we have a Grammar assessment
