Welcome to another great year at Isenberg!

Language Arts: We are now in the second theme: Giving It All You've Got.  We have now divided into two reading groups for each class, one group is reading The Chocolate Touch and Tuck Everlasting.  We will be able to discuss elements found in the novel as it pertains to our skills in the basal.

High Frequency Words: As we progress through the year, please review these words and help your child to find them in newspapers, magazines, and books.

Social Studies: We just completed our travel brochures and students did a good job utilizing resources in the library and technology to display their information.  By the end of the month, we will have completed Unit 1 and will move into the beginnings of the United States.

Writing: We are still working on narrative writing and are in the process of developing our first publishable piece.
